We celebrate not just food and heritage but also art that tells our stories with pride. That’s why when our esteemed customer, Lilian Olubi, released her new film Osamede, we couldn’t wait to see it together as a team.

The Wangaraufoods team stepped out for movie night. We loved every bit of Osamede, pure Nigerian brilliance by Lilian Olubi
Produced by Lilian Olubi and directed by James Omokwe, Osamede is a gripping historical drama set during the 1897 invasion of the Benin Kingdom by the British Empire. The film beautifully captures the courage, pride, and sacrifice of a people determined to defend their culture and identity.
From its opening scene, Osamede draws you into the grandeur of the ancient Benin Kingdom; its art, language, rituals and royal strength, all woven into an emotional, visually rich narrative.
